THE SAME JESUS

Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today, and forever. Hebrews 13:8

Jesus had prioritized divine healing during His earthly ministry. The Bible tells us that He went about “doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil” (see Acts 10:38). In fact, anyone and everyone who came to Him for healing—whether it was for their children, servants, friends or for themselves—received their healing. Not a single one who had come to Him went away without receiving healing from Him.

And Jesus, who is “the same yesterday, today, and forever”, will do the same for you today. His heart still beats with compassion for you. He will never miss an opportunity to do good to you—to heal you of your broken body, emotional scars and weary spirit—and to bless you!

BE FREE FROM LACK

But Abram said to the king of Sodom, “I have raised my hand to the Lord, God Most High, the Possessor of heaven and earth.” Genesis 14:22

Do you believe that our God is a BIG God of abundance and inexhaustible supply? He is the Possessor of heaven and earth. He is not El Cheapo. He is El Shaddai—the Almighty, all-sufficient and all-nourishing one! And in Christ, the abundance of God’s wisdom, favor, ability, strength and creativity that you need for a successful family, career and ministry, are yours to experience and enjoy.

I want to challenge you to break out of a mentality of lack by choosing to fix your eyes on an abundant God, who has put His unlimited resources at your disposal because you are His beloved child

.

What is your lack today? Do you need a job? Do you need more time? Or do you just feel overwhelmed by the demands of family and work? Instead of seeing the lack, start seeing a BIG God providing for you out of His abundance, a job you’ll love, wisdom to manage your time and shalom-peace at work and at home.

SEE HIS SUPPLY

SEE HIS SUPPLY

Now it happened on another Sabbath, also, that He entered the synagogue and taught. And a man was there whose right hand was withered… And when He had looked around at them all, He said to the man, “Stretch out your hand.” And he did so, and his hand was restored as whole as the other. Luke 6:6, 10

It must have drawn many looks—some curious, some sympathetic, some possibly of disgust. For the owner and all who saw it, the withered hand must have spelled “challenging”, “difficult” and very likely, “impossible to heal”.

But where others saw the witheredness, Jesus saw only God’s supply of healing and wholeness available to the man. That’s why He said to him, “Stretch out your hand.” Jesus didn’t see the lack others saw. He only saw the Father’s superabundant supply of grace all over that withered hand. He saw the Father’s heart to heal and bless the man!

Today, don’t focus on your pain, symptoms or the doctor’s negative report. Whether it’s an aching back, ailing heart or barren womb, see His healing power enveloping your body. See His grace supplying life and health to you!
